Introducing "Fiddlers Three", a dynamic trio of seasoned fiddlers and performers with North Country's Kathy Sommer and fiddling partners Ellen Carlson and Melissa Bragdon Caron. These women are hard drivers of energy, traveling through fiddle tunes, country, bluegrass and blues with impeccable and well-honored fiddle harmonies.
Not many bands can stand alone without accompaniment but this trio is one of them, sufficient as just three fiddlers or accompanied by a band of players to round out their sound. Any concert will certainly "WOW" and audience with their energy. The women are inspired by the driving sound of bluegrass, the swing of Bob Wills, the horns of Chuck Berry, sultry violin, country twang, and the tunes and energy of a contra dance.
